At Edge of Steel, we are an independent British company specialising in premium, flexible steel edging crafted to deliver immaculate, enduring borders.

What we do different
Unlike many installers and self installation edging which rely on bolted on connections, thin steel or off the shelf products, every project we undertake is fabricated and installed on site using heavy-duty steel. Each section is individually measured, shaped and welded to suit your garden perfectly, creating smooth flowing curves, seamless joints and a finish that simply cannot be achieved with self installation systems.
Every section of edging is fitted with heavy-duty 30x30x5mm steel angle stakes, continuously welded to the rear of the edging at 750mm apart. This provides exceptional strength, and prevents movement over time.
Our edging is joined using 3" steel joiner plates that are then welded to the rear of the steel. This creates a perfectly flush, seamless connection between lengths, ensuring the finished installation appears as one continuous piece.
Once installed, the lawn finished flush against the rear of the edging, whilst approximately 20mm of steel remains visible on the gravel side. This height can be changed to suit all needs dependant on application and design.
